A small desk doesn’t create the kind of space that these small things need. But that is just me. On a desk, one pen would not make it messy looking, but a dozen pens might. But it was completely unusable as a desk because of the quality of its antiquity. No one could relax at this desk enough to use it as a functioning piece of furniture. What if you scratched it?
